Back to the Ballpark

This past weekend was the preseason tournament for AP's softball team, the Crush. This is AP's first season and Daddy is the head coach. So far it's been lots of fun! Well, at least for me and the kids, Daddy is staying awake at night pondering positions and batting orders!

Until We Meet Again..

Coming home from a restful, albeit too short, trip to the shore can be hard. I love our non-stop, full of activity schedule, but looking back at images of days spent taking walks on the beach and pondering waterfront dinners makes me start a countdown in my head until the beach and I meet again.

Braces Are Off!

Yesterday, C got his braces off and his palate expander removed!! He was actually pretty nervous about getting them off. He was afraid of what his teeth were going to look like underneath, but they look perfect! C said "I never realized how smooth my palate is.". He hasn't felt it in over a year :)

Shark tooth and Tacky Jacks

On our 2nd beach day, C found an actual shark tooth . And it was huge. And it still has little ridges all around the tooth, as in it had only come out recently. Sort of scary that it was just floating along right there in the surf. But, C declared himself to be "so lucky"!

One of our favorite restaurants in Orange Beach is Tacky Jacks. The kiddos like the observation deck and checking out the sights in the bay.
