300th Post

My sister stopped by our house this morning on her way out of town. We had unknowingly dressed the girls exactly alike! Of course, this meant we had to pull out the camera :)

Kissing Cousins

My mom, her boyfriend, my sister, brother-in-law, and niece came down this past Friday to celebrate Christmas a little belated. When AP and my niece first see each other they are all about showing each other some love. It is so cute!

We exchanged gifts on Saturday. C got a new scooter from Nanna that he looooves. And I got the red Ipod that I really wanted :) Thanks again, Nanna!

Now it is time to go through all of the old toys and do a serious purge. The kiddos have so much that they don't play with. So we either buy a bigger house or get rid of some toys!
All of the Christmas celebrations are over. It's hard to believe 2009 is just a few days away. I'm not much of a resolution person, but I do like to set a few goals at the start of the new year. I have a few in mind already. How 'bout you?

A Very Merry Christmas

Santa has come and gone, family has come and gone, and now it's time for mommy to hit the sack!

C with his "kingdom"

Ready to eat!

A slight meltdown because she wanted the box open NOW

Getting Ready for Santa

We put reindeer food on our lawn "so the reindeer could find our house and have energy" (per C).

Then we donned our Christmas jammies...
and put cookies out for Santa.

Then guess who snuck one of Santa's cookies!

The Eve

What a night! We had a fun filled Christmas Eve at my aunt and uncles house. There were lots of presents, food, family, and friends.

C said this is how he looks "handsome"

This is the infamous "blue baby" that she told everyone that she wanted.

Can you say overstimulated?

She said yes!

How Weird is That?

Hubs logged on to www.noradsanta.org this morning to see where Santa was. This site tracks where Santa is at that exact moment. Guess where he was at the time Hubs logged in? KYRGYZSTAN!

Real Nutcrackers!

Nanna bought the kiddos these nutcrackers when we were at the ballet a few days ago. C was so excited to have a "real nutcracker". When he went to bed tonight he left them sitting on the coffee table. He said "I wonder if they are talking to each other about going ice skating?" You never know what he is going to say next!

Visit with Santa

Yesterday, the kiddos and I met some friends at the mall to ride the train again and visit with Santa. I was so surprised that the line to see Santa was relatively short for the week of Christmas. I haven't scanned the actual visit picture yet, but here are the kiddos and their friends in their cute Christmas attire.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention what C's request to Santa was. Are you ready for this? .... "a kingdom". Yes, my son wants his own empire, not sure how I'm going to pull that one off...

To the Nutcracker and Back Again

I made it to Ohio Saturday in just 4 hours. It's amazing how travelling without kiddos cuts an hour and a half off the trip! My mom, sister and I went to eat downtown at a Scottish tavern/steakhouse, Nicholsons. It was really good (right mom?). We even had our picture made with the man in the kilt at the door :)

After dinner we walked right across the street to the performing arts center. Our seats were awesome. We were on the third row behind the orchestra right in the middle! The show was great.

Then Sunday morning I had to sneak in some time for this cutie before heading home.

The good news is I get to see them all again this weekend when they come down to my house (as long as they leave the stomach bug in Ohio :)
