This is our little group before the race, happily oblivious to the hills....
These are our shoes with a Champion Chips on, one on each foot for the two races. That is how they keep your official time since everyone doesn't cross the start line at the same time.I must have been too tired to take a pic after the last race, but we did treat ourselves to some Smoothie King :)Then later that night Hubs and I got to go on a date. We went back to the restaurant that we went to on our first date over 9 years ago. I got a birthday brownie(my b-day is Monday).
Then we went to hear Boompa's band play. Boompa was rockin' the keyboard. We had lots of fun and stayed out too late. I was really sleepy in church this morning!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Looks like you had fun this weekend. And I applaud you for the running!!

Happy Bday!! I love that last pick of you two... it's so cute!
WOW! Good for you!! That course is SO hilly. I used to walk it with a friend in graduate school, and it was a great workout. I can't imagine running it! I started running 2 weeks ago but can barely do a mile and a half...it's been a LONG time since I exercised regularly, and I am so out of shape! I am impressed with your 15K! :) Happy Birthday!
