We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life. But those who make their journey home across time & miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us by God's very own hands. ~Kristi Larson~

Are you ready for some baseball?
Last night C's baseball team had a parents vs kids scrimmage. It was FREEZING, but we found the key to keeping our little zero-percent-body-fat-boy warm.....Feet warmers!! They are insoles that stay warm that we can slide into his shoes. Genius. At first, I was afraid they would get too hot, but we checked often and they never did.
This morning, as in before the sun came up, some of our running group at church headed down to Centennial Park for the Runnin' To Beat The Blues 5K. It was chilly, but perfect running weather. We couldn't miss the chance to have our picture made with I.C.Hope, the mascot for the Mental Health Association. A great cause to run for!
After the race, it was time to get ready for the first game of the spring baseball season, well it was actually a scrimmage, but I don't think the kids knew that. Our team ended up losing 9 to 12, but C had the best hit he has ever had! We were all so excited, the ball actually went all the way into left field. He got a hit his second at bat as well, after fouling it off SIX times!

Bye Bye Beach (Warning: Lotso Pictures)
If a picture speaks a thousand words, then here's
27, 000 :)
We made it home safely from our little spring break vacation last night. The kiddos did awesome in the car! It's a lot to ask a 4 and 7 year old to stay sane in the car for 12 hours.
We are back to reality tomorrow, whether we like it or not!! I've read other blogs or FB statuses saying that people are glad to be home and I wish I agreed. Don't get me wrong, I love our home and our church and our schools, but all 4 of us are total beach lovers. We would all 4 still rather be digging our feet into the sand for sure.
