Backing Up- Easter Parties at School and C's Class Party

Both kiddos' classes had Easter Egg hunts this year.  I'm glad C's class decided to do one because a lot of the 2nd grade classes didn't.

After their Easter Egg Hunt, they celebrated their April birthdays.  They sang to 3 kiddos.

 C brought the birthday cupcakes, electric blue Transformer cupcakes!

Backing Up- C Student of the Month and Fun Run

 C was student of the month for December!

 Then earlier this month the kiddos ran in their school's annual fundraiser, The Fun Run.  They were sponsored per lap and each raised about $150!  The pics are just of the blur that the kiddos are as they run by :)

 And then she fell fast asleep while we watched brother run!

C got so hot!  I was afraid he was going to be sick at the end, but he was super proud of running the max amount of laps :)

Backing Up- Loose Tooth Shoot

 Back before AP lost her first tooth, my friend (whose daughter also had a very wiggly first loose tooth) and I took the girls to the park to capture their baby tooth smiles before they turned to snaggletooth smiles :)

The brothers were there, too, and played along for a few pictures!

Backing Up- Let's Go Fly A Kite!

About a month ago, there were severe weather alerts in our area.  Our house has no basement and no interior rooms.  Every room has an exterior wall and a large window!  So we went to hang out at our friends house that has a big basement to ride out the storm.  When we got there, there was nothing but lots of wind, so we decided to make the best of a windy day and try to fly kites :)

I don't know if you can tell from the pictures, but they never really flew!  The kiddos sure had fun trying, though :)

Cousin Time

Over the weekend my sis and her family were here to help celebrate all the birthdays (APs, Nannas's, and C's a little early). The cousins always have so much fun together. Don't get me wrong, they fight, too, but the girls declared themselves "BFF"s before the weekend was over :). We sure wish they lived closer !

APs first gameball!

Last Thursday night AP got her first gameball. She has really improved her hitting! According to her, she was "hitting it like a 6 year old".
