We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life. But those who make their journey home across time & miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us by God's very own hands. ~Kristi Larson~

Dinosaur Poop
Today the kiddos and I listened to my dad's (Boompa's) latest CD in the car on the way home. Well, I wasn't expecting it, but there was an entire silly song about dinosaur poop! The kiddos LOVED it. They were both laughing out loud and singing along by the end. I took pictures of C trying to tell Hubs about it when we got home. He was still laughing so hard!

And on a random sidenote, this is what it looks like when the little mermaid meets spidey :)

Novosibirsk
Can you believe that the Amazing Race went to Novosibirsk tonight? That is the town that C is from in the middle of Siberia!
Chocolate Crock Pot Cake
I made this tonight for our small group and I really liked it, so I thought I would share!
Ingredients:
One 18.5 oz pkg chocolate cake mix (I used devils food)
One 3.9 oz pkg instant chocolate pudding mix
One 16 oz container sour cream
3/4 c oil
4 eggs
1 c water
One 6 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
Mix together all ingredients. Pour into crock pot that has been sprayed with non-stick vegetable spray. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Turn off slow cooker and let stand 20-30 minutes. Do not lift lid until ready to serve. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
The ice cream melted on top of the warm chocolatey goodness!

A Few of My Favorite Things
It's spring consignment sale season! I love finding great deals on great clothes. There have been at least 4 big sales this week and I've had lots of fun looking for bargains. Here are a few of my favorite finds:

If you notice the lack of finds for C that is because in his size everything seems to be so worn out, faded, and stained. It is a lot harder to find things for him at consignment sales. That just means he gets more brand new stuff!
