The Zoo Run Run
My girlfriends and I ran the Zoo Run Run at the Nashville Zoo today. It was a 5K. We all finished in the 900's out of 2000 people, so not too bad overall, but I finished FIVE minutes slower than the last 5K I ran before AP came home. I've got some work to do. Here we are before the run, one friend and I got in the zoo spirit and painted animal faces on ourselves.

Congrats on finishing the race!! I have not exercised since a few days before Thanksgiving. I'm dying to get out and do some power walking and run/walking with Little Squirt as soon as I can find a jogging stroller I like.
Keep it up...you'll get to that time again :)
Sophie wants me to compliment you on your face paints :) Jim's comtemplated doing the Charleston Cooper River Bridge Run thing (the one FFTIA has been talking about) but he's not had time to train... needless to say, I'm not a runner :) but am impressed nonetheless!
Are you running the Music City Half-Marathon in April? My husband is so Owen and I will be there to cheer him on :) Love the whiskers by the way. Can't wait to take Owen to the Nashville Zoo this Spring!
