We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life. But those who make their journey home across time & miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us by God's very own hands. ~Kristi Larson~

Bon Voyage!
We are all tucked in our beds in our hotel room right near the airport now because our flights to Miami board at 5:45 in the morning! That is going to come so early and we are already so tired. Why you might ask? Because we spent 4 hours at the emergency room last night! It all started when Hubs and I heard a thud come from AP's room that we knew couldn't be good last night. I'll spare you most of the details, but she had been climbing up the front of her armoire using the drawers as stairs and the whole thing turned over on her. It was very scary for a few moments. We went to the ER because we wanted to rule out a major head injury before we got on a boat and were in the middle of nowhere. She had a CT scan done and everything looked good. We didn't crawl back into our beds until about 3:30 this morning. I took a picture of her turning the blankets into babies in her hospital bed and putting diapers on them, but I used my phone that's not with me. Anyway, we are all tired and headed to bed for our 3:30 am wake up call...ugh!

Oh dear...I cannot imagine such a thing happening. I can see Nola doing something similar.
Ok, so it seems you are close to my stomping grounds. Are you in Miami now? Are you cruising? Do tell. Is it possible to connect?

how scary! glad to hear everyone is fine.
I just found your blog today...I have a son from Russia and a daughter from Guatemala. I hope it is ok but I put a link to your blog on mine.
Your children are beautiful and I look forward to reading more!
Holy cow! What a scare! I'm so glad that AP is okay. Now, I'm gonna put up those furniture straps behind ALL of my furniture before Tulla Belle gets home. One of my biggest fears is exactly what you describe. Gosh, I'm so relieved that there wasn't any major injury.
Wow! That would be scary! Anytime JJ gets hurt I end up freaking and assuming the worst, but better safe than sorry, right? Maybe now she'll stop climbing! Poor Baby!
