Yesterday Hubs planned to spend the day with C doing whatever C requested. C's request was "let's build something"! The funny thing about that is that if you know Hubs at all then you know that he is not the builder type. But, he entertained C's request. After a quick trip to the golf course, they went to the home improvement store to get their supplies. C requested that they build a flower box for Mommy :) Hubs had no idea what he was doing, but they spent a long time sawing, hammering, and sweating that's for sure.
C was SO excited about the finished product. I love it and think that it turned out perfect!
We gave Hubs his Fathers Day presents early. The kiddos were so happy to show him what they had picked out.
Today we spent the majority of the day at the pool with my dad, Boompa, and Baba. I have an awesome dad and loved celebrating him today. Unlike myself, I did not take my camera to the pool, so you don't get to see pictures of AP in her new floaties, C shooting his Super Soaker, or Hubs and I in a handstand competition (C judged and I won :).

I have no doubt you won the handstand contest, hands down. Ha ha! I made a pun! =) Anyway, glad y'all had a great Father's day. Have a safe trip to OH. We'll have to do some serious hanging out under a sprinkler (or garden hose or whatever) when you get home.
Wow! What a day!! How is it that you got a gift on Father's day?? That is pretty special!! I'm glad you guys had a good Sunday...hate that Saturday didn't work out. Maybe next time:)
