First Things First

Today is the second stay-by-yourself kindergarten day! AND the first day that we participated in the drop-off line for car riders. I ended up breaking the cardinal rule and GOT OUT OF MY CAR in the drop off line. I completely forgot that the child lock was on in C's door. So I had to hop out and run around and hold up the line :) I really hope that C made it where he was supposed to this morning. He was very confident that he could do it by himself. However, as I glanced back while driving away I saw him sort of freeze before walking in. I know that there are lots of people to lovingly help him get to the right place, right?????

And secondly, we spent the last 2 and a half days at Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana. We had a great time and I have pictures to share soon...

He looks so handsome!!!
T got his first "note to parents" yesterday. It wasn't a huge deal but I still hate getting them.

Teachers are always on the lookout for the deer in the headlight look of kindergarteners!

I can't believe you were the only one who had the child lock issue--we have a kiss and go lane at our school also, and there are TONS of child lock forgets!
