Weekend Recap

Friday after Hubs finished his meetings, we headed up to Pigeon Forge to shop, shop, shop. I love the outlets there. Then that afternoon we met up with Daddy B and Grandma to check into our cabins. The cabins weren't really what we expected, but they were.....quaint, I think that's a good word for it. Ours actually had a really cool sleeping loft in it that C slept in and the kids loved playing in. My least favorite thing about our accommodations was the lack of hot water. But, we made it work and we had fun doing it.

Friday night we went to Dixie Stampede for the dinner show. It was really good! There were 70+ horses involved, as well as steer, ostrich, and piglets. Needless to say, the kiddos loved every second of it. They were mesmerized. The show was very entertaining. I think C also really liked that you ate the entire meal with your fingers. Thanks Daddy B and Grandma for that special treat!

Saturday morning we all met up for breakfast at the Apple Barn. Another yummy meal, we all left stuffed!

Saturday afternoon Hubs and I headed to Knoxville with his aunt and uncle for the game. We had a lot of fun hanging out with them on the strip before the game. Their team actually came really close to beating the Vols. Our team needs some work!

We all met up again this morning for breakfast before heading home. We had a fun-filled weekend, but it feels good to be relaxing on the couch now and watching Amazing Race!

Looks like y'all had a great weekend! Some of the places around pigeon forge are pretty... quaint :) Although it does look like the kids had a blast :)
