Snow Day

Friday was one of those days that we in the school system look forward to all year long. It was a snow day with no snow in sight! Actually, it did snow some Thursday night and they went ahead and cancelled school then, but by Friday morning it was perfectly clear and a great day to go shopping!

The kiddos and I met up with some friends at our local mall. There were lots of children's activities going on.

They rode the train...
decorated ornaments...

met Ms. Claus and the Chik-Fil-A cow (they were way more interested in the cow)...
and rode the carousel.

After all that excitement we ran by Joann's (a craft store) for maybe 20 minutes max. We went to my aunt's house after that. She asked C what he had been doing all day and his response was "my mom made me go shopping at JoAnn's" . He completely forgot that I had been chasing him and his sister for 3 hours at the mall! Little stinker!

My kids aren't too fond of Jo-Anns either...we always go there with my mom. I think she keeps them in business!

Sounds like a good day. C reminds me so much of Mason- that is just like something he would say!
