Crash, Cake Balls, and Color Uncoordinated

I think we are going to start calling C "Crash". Let's just say that he got a double dose of clumsy. That may just be how all little boys are, or it could be that he has such long legs that they just get tangled up! He falls a LOT. Yesterday morning he was walking out of his room and ran smack dab into the door frame HARD. He immediately got a very raised and purple line right down the middle of his forehead, very klingon-ish :) We got him to put ice on it and lay still for about 10 minutes, then he was up again!

Today I made Cake Balls that are so yummy and one of C's favorites. I have made them a couple of times before and thought I would share the recipe.

CAKE BALLS:

Bake cake according to box directions. You can use any flavor that you would like.
When it's still warm - crumble it up in a bowl and mix in a can of frosting (I used cream cheese icing and strawberry cake)
IMPORTANT STEP: Refrigerate the cake and frosting for about an hour before you start making balls!
Form the cake/icing mixture into balls.
Melt almond bark (either vanilla or chocolate - depending on your cake) and dip balls in the bark. You could use toothpicks or a fork And voila - one of the yummiest things you will ever taste!!!
I got it HERE. Kelly has lots of easy and fantastic recipes on her blog.

And lastly, I determined today that I can no longer be held responsible for what my daughter is wearing. She has become very insistent on her wardrobe choices and she has a style all her own! She is very into layering things. Yesterday morning we had to get ready quickly to take something to Hubs at the ballpark, so I sent her to get dressed while I was getting dressed. She came out of her room with a long sleeved tee under a short sleeved tee under a baby doll dress with polka dot pants! She was so proud of her outfit! Her outfit this afternoon was a compromise, so it wasn't too bad...
She is also into her sippy cup matching her outfit and is very upset when it doesn't! I have a feeling that 13 is going to be very interesting with my baby girl!
