We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life. But those who make their journey home across time & miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us by God's very own hands. ~Kristi Larson~

Reality Check
So I was engaged in a conversation Saturday at the birthday party we attended with a few of the other mothers. We were talking about what our kids were "in to". I told them that C was in to your average superheroes- Batman, Spiderman, occasionally Ninja Turtles. He also still really likes shows that cater to younger audiences, like Mickey Mouse, Diego, Little Bear, Wonder Pets, etc. Then things like Hannah.Montana and High School Musical came up in the conversation. I confidently shared that C didn't know anything about those really and had never seen them or even mentioned them. Fast forward to today. The kiddos and I ran into Wally World to pick something up. In the Back To School aisle there was a life size cut out of Hannah M. C says "look mom it's a real Hannah Montana!" I said "who?!? You don't know who that is." C replied "Moooooooom (already in that you don't know anything tone of voice), it's Miley Cyrus." (what?) So, not only has he been sneaking and watching Hannah behind my back, he also knows that is just her alter ego and her real name is Miley Cyrus! Ugh, I'm not ready for this.

Ahhhh... girl, all boys are in love with Hannah. :-) No matter how old or young, apparently. Isn't it hard getting less intelligent as they get older?
Your blog is beautiful...and you really are a mom to two angels! My Daniel is in love with Hannah Montana and secretly performs her songs and routines in the den when no one is watching!
I've never watched the show so I don't really know anything about her. Except the fact that her face is all over the t.v.
I am not ready for that either!!! Have you found that secret freezing time potion???????
:)

I know exactly how you are feeling. I thought I could keep my Chipmunk a little boy for a big longer, but I realized (as i dropped him off at kindergarten this morning...sigh...) that those days are over and other children are going to be so much influential now. Our boys are growing up!
Have you checked with C's daddy...jonas brothers what???
LOL :)
I just gave you an award! Go check out my blog.
