Hubs and I had a great time last night watching Boompa's band play. On the way there I realized that I had left my id at home. I don't ever do anything that involves getting carded so I completely forgot. We didn't want to drive all the way back home b/c then we would miss the first part of the set, so we decided to go on and see if I could use the "my dad's in the band card" if I needed to. So we got there and nobody even asked for an id to get in. We had to pay a cover charge, but didn't have to prove we were old enough to be there. They didn't even ask for id to get an adult beverage. Hmmmm.....either I'm starting to look so old that it's not an issue or they have really slacked off since I was in college. I'm going with the latter.

yea date nights...we need one of those! I would ID you- you do look like do are still in college. I never get carded anymore either...hopefully they are just getting slack here, too!
