Swing Lessons

When I picked C up from school yesterday he asked me if he could take "swing lessons". Apparently, some or most of the kids in his class can swing by themselves, you know pump their legs and make the swing go without someone helping. We have tried and tried to get C to learn how to do this, but he has never really been motivated to give it much effort. Peer pressure must have set in already! So this morning we went to the park for our lessons. Here are a few shots of C giving it his best effort. I have to admit he still has a long way to go. Coordination is not his best friend :) He was sure cute trying, though.

AP got some swing time in, too.

Hubs came to meet us after his golf game and brought us lunch.

It was a great day at the park. We will have to return more often to make time for our "lessons" :)

Looks like a LOT of fun. Why does AP have band-aids on BOTH knees? It's perfect weather now for park time, isn't it?

I love going to the park with Madi.

The picture of AP coming down the slide is funny. She was mid air. Let me guess she landed on her toosh? ;)

I think they were having too much fun! Lunch in the park just makes it so much better. Swing lessons. LOL! The things that come out of their mouths are too funny!
