Russian Boys and Kyrgyz Girls

Today the kiddos and I drove up to Louisville, KY to meet up with three other adoptive blogging families and their sweet kiddos. There were four little Kyrgyz girls, three of which have older Russian brothers! (Ellie has a great big brother too who is so sweet with the little ones, he just happens to not be Russian :) I met Maria and her crew, Rachel and her crew, and A and her crew. We started out a park along the river to let the kiddos run off some steam.

We attempted a group photo :)

Here are the handsome Russian boys...

And the beautiful Kyrgyz girls...

After we grabbed some lunch we toured the Louisville Slugger Museum.

It was pretty interesting and neat to see the bats actually being made. Did you know that it takes 400 trees to make bats for one season? That makes metal bats sound a little more appealing to me, but then again I'm not a professional baseball player. The manufacturing of the metal bats made by Louisville Slugger, however, is being moved to China.
